Spotting Companies in the Acwyre Network
Acwyre is TFO Group's UK-based sales and marketing subsidiary, supporting networks of independently registered marketing companies that deliver face-to-face customer acquisition and fundraising campaigns on behalf of commercial and charitable partners.
Like other companies operating within the Devilcorp business model, Acwyre recruits salespeople and acquires customers through a decentralised network of seemingly independent marketing companies. As a result, many people apply to work for these companies without ever realising their connection to Acwyre or TFO Group.
An Acwyre-affiliated company will never publicly declare its place within this network, which is why it becomes necessary to develop research methodologies to identify these connections ourselves. The sections below outline the most reliable methods for doing so. Much of what is covered here applies equally to companies operating within the networks of TFO Group's other subsidiaries, Tawkr and Amplifi.
The Devilcorp.org Search Engine
Our integrated search engine can be used to quickly identify whether a company is Acwyre-affiliated. It features a built-in API connection to Companies House, ensuring that corporate data on all of the Acwyre companies we're already tracking is kept up to date, and also aggregates first-hand testimonies from current and former employees shared on r/Devilcorp, making it a valuable first port of call before conducting your own research. Acwyre itself can also be searched, revealing which UK offices are currently trending in our user base.
Social Media
The easiest way to identify and locate Acwyre companies is through Instagram, with new pages appearing seemingly daily as new offices and salespeople join the network.
This does not mean every account you find represents a legally registered business, however. Many Acwyre-affiliated "marketing companies" with their own Instagram presence are not legally registered businesses at all, but rather individual salespeople projecting the image of one. Each salesperson maintains their own branded page, which serves several purposes: it builds the online presence of a potential future office, it deepens the salesperson's personal investment in their own brand — creating a sense of sunk cost that keeps them motivated toward the goal of one day owning that office — and it allows the legally registered offices above them to present themselves as growing and expanding.
This structure shapes how these accounts look and act. Each salesperson runs their own Instagram page, typically named "[Something] Promotions" or "[Something] Marketing," and team photos will regularly tag each member with the Instagram handle of their 'office'. The result is a loose, decentralised network of accounts, often far less polished and closely monitored than those of Credico or Appco offices, with some resembling a student's personal feed more than a business page.
For example, 'm_1_club_official' on Instagram, while appearing to be a marketing company in its own right, actually functions as a general social media presence for Acwyre's Slough hub office located at Automotive House, Grays Place. It operates under the Acwyre umbrella and serves several companies based out of that office, including:
Its Instagram content is a mix of recruitment call-to-action posts, in-office interviews with new applicants, promotions, and candid shots of the Slough Acwyre team getting food.
As is typical in this industry, Acwyre offices regularly attend events hosted by their parent company, including awards galas. These include the BA Awards, the Entrepreneur Meetup Awards, and the IBA Awards — the latter being specific to those offices that operate within IBA Global, a smaller network that sits inside Acwyre's wider umbrella. Posts from any of these events on a company's social media are a strong indicator that it is an Acwyre office.
It is also worth checking whether the account you are researching follows, or is followed by, TFO Events, Acwyre's parent company, Acwyre itself, or its sister company Tawkr. Browsing the followers and following lists of these pages can serve as a useful map of the wider network, with individual offices, salespeople, and associated accounts frequently appearing within these connections.
Finally, Acwyre office accounts frequently use AI-generated imagery in their promotional posts, commonly to promote events, job opportunities, or the lifestyle associated with the role. This can serve as a useful visual identifier when trying to determine whether an unfamiliar account fits the pattern.
Corporate Analysis
Due to the nature of how Acwyre opens its offices, corporate analysis can be difficult. Acwyre owners tend to be younger with less corporate history, and registered addresses are often a home or separate office rather than that of an Acwyre hub location itself, meaning the company name and owner will usually still need to be sourced from Instagram before a Companies House search can begin.
Once a Companies House page has been located, the clearest indicator that a company is part of the Acwyre network is whether it is, or has ever been, registered at one of the following hub addresses, or in close proximity to one:
Peartree House, Bolham Lane, Retford, Notts, DN22 6SU
31 Worship Street, London, EC2A 2DX, England
4th Floor, 69 Dalston Lane, London, E8 2NG, England
2nd Floor East, Automotive House, Grays Place, Slough, SL2 5AF, England
17 St Anns Square, Manchester, M2 7PW, United Kingdom
Anglia House, 10 Derrys Cross, Plymouth, PL1 2SH, England
