Comedian Ben Palmer Launches Petition Urging AT&T to Cut Ties with Exploitative Sales Firms

Comedian Ben Palmer recently went viral for exposing a so-called “job interview” on Zoom as a recruitment call for a commission-only sales scheme, one of hundreds in the United States that make up the broader network known online as Devilcorp.

These companies operate under a web of generic names and false promises, luring applicants into unpaid door-to-door sales roles with no base pay and exploitative conditions. Many of them are contracted by major corporations, including AT&T, who use these firms to outsource their sales while avoiding direct accountability.

At Devilcorp.org, we’ve documented hundreds of these companies and the widespread harm they cause. Along with the community at r/Devilcorp, we support workers and expose the network’s deceptive tactics.

Ben Palmer has now launched a petition demanding that AT&T stop working with these exploitative firms. We support this effort and urge you to take action.

It’s time AT&T stopped enabling these predatory business practices.
